This is a beautiful, well-maintained park with resort amenities, including pool, golf, and a historic hotel in a lush, green setting. There is a cozy clubhouse with small store, which also serves as the headquarters for the golf course. RV spaces are each surrounded by lawn and trees. The park is in redwood country and is close to the Avenue of the Giants and numerous state parks. The Eel River runs next to it, and has swimming holes during the summer months.
We stayed two nights in rainy weather. Drainage was good, with minimal mud. We will definitely be coming back again.
