Hi!
We have recently purchased a new 2013 Cougar X-Lite 21RBS on Oct. 4th and took if for its first trip last weekend. Everything checked out fine, and we are enjoying our new travel trailer. We moved up from a TrailManor 2720 folding camper, and love all the room, slideout, and storage.

We noticed that the tires have these names on them: Grand Ride Power Towing. Tire size is: ST225/75R15 with load range of D. The DOT number is PPW6 WMDI and manufacturing date is 2812
(28th week of 2012) on three, 2812 on another and 1512 on the spare.

The info on the tire tread reads: 5 ply tread, 2 polyester, 2 steel, and 1 nylon. The info for the sidewall is 2 ply polyester. They are radial tubeless tires with a max load of 2540 pounds at 65 PSI.

I checked the manufacturers' code (PP) on the NHTSA site and found this info.
Manufacturer Name: SHANDONG GUOFENG RUBBER & PLASTIC CO., LTD.
DOT PP
Address DAWANG TOWN, GUANGRAO
CHINA

Has anyone had experience with these tires?

Many thanks, and we appreciate the wealth of info on this forum.

They are made in China Junk keep air at max cold and stay under 65Mile per Hour have a good eye at every stop for sure when high heat You should not have trouble for 3-4 years if You keep the air up and speed down then replace but with a name brand tire ...Not trying to make You worry but be safe Ok Bushman:D

Some of those off shore manufacturers change brand names on every shipment.

Ditto on keeping them serviced to 65 psi all the time and keeping your driving speeds under 65 mph. They have more than adequate load capacity reserves for your trailer’s GAWR and should last to their estimated life expectancy - somewhere between 3-5 years as long as you don’t overload them.

Good Luck,
