I have just bought a 2012 26 SAB Cougar lite...I was inspecting the undercarrage when I found 2 valves on the right side just in front of the tires..One is red for hot water and the other is blue for cold water.. I opened both and anti freeze came out..I have used this 5th wheel 8 times..I used the pump and city water...What are these lines for? Where do they go? and why is there still anti freeze still in them from the dealer. Are those drains the low point for ALL the lines and that is where I would drain the lines for winter?? I was told to hook up to the water pump and pum[p- the lines fuul that way>

You have found your low point drains.

Also be sure to check your outside shower if you have one and have never used it it will most likely still have antifreeze also.

My understanding is that if you are using city water, then you are not using the pump (so you don't need to turn it on at all). The pressure from the city line is sufficient, and the water automatically by-passes the pump. That way antifreeze could still be in the lines that go from the fresh tank to the pump. Have you used your fresh tank at all? If you've just been using city water attached to the city water inlet valve then you might even have antifreeze in your fresh tank which again is okay since that is all bypassed. If you have the water pump manual that comes with the trailer there is a picture of how this is set up (although they don't explain it; we got an explanation on our walk-thru)
