Hi all. We live in Kingwood, TX, a northeast suburb of Houston. I'm 68 and my wife is 65. We are newbies to RV's, but are considering the purchase of a TT in the next 6 months. We have a 2005 Dodge Durango, V8 (52,00 miles) with a towing capacity of 7350 lbs.

We really liked the Keystone Springdale 26RLS, weighing in at 6300 lbs., but I'm beginning to think we should be looking at an ultralight and am considering either the 28RLS Bullet or the 28RLS Passport to give us some extra leeway, weight-wise, as well as additional storage space.

Does anyone have any thoughts on our decision-making in this purchase? I'm not sure where these trailers rank in the Keystone product line as to quality/durability/resale and would love some feedback as to which direction to go.

Thanks,

Jerry

If you go the Keystone RV website, you will find that all three of these TT (Springdale, Bullet and Passport Ultralites) are all in the same group dollar-wise. They are probably of equal quality and reliability but each would have features that are unique to that model. The floorplans, for example, are different.
If weight is a concern, then you might be better off looking at the lightest possible TT that would mate well with your Dodge Durango.
Resale value depends upon many factors so it is difficult to say which of those 3 would have the highest resale value.
If you can visit an RV dealership that has all 3 TT's in stock then you can go through each one of them and decide which of the 3 you prefer.

Welcome to the forum !

Definitely consider your total weight of the TT when towing.

You'll be surprised how much 'stuff' you can put in it thinking
you need it all and if you truly do need it all then get a light
weight TT.

Happy Hunting for the camper......
