Jensen mp5000

Spent my first weekend in my new/used 2010 Springdale 291. Loved it. But the sound quality from the Jensen is awful! It functions well, all the speakers work, but XM boom box sounds better.
Has anyone found a good upgrade for the unit? My stereo guru says go for new unit before screwing with the speakers; crap in-crap out.

Check and see they have it wired . On mine I get a echo through the tv. My son figured it out showed his step mother what to do . When I camp I spend most if my time outside, but I do know it was something to do with how it was routed. Good luck

Mine actually does what it is supposed to, just not very well. I can tinker with the tone controls and get some improvement but not much. It just sounds cheap! Even running the XM through it didn't excite me.
