Bought a 26sab 5th wheeler and ther is no mention anywhere in the manual of the location of the manual slideout crank location and how to use it for the main slideout. Dealer never mentioned or showed it at all. I assumed the manual would tell you but I should have known about assuming anything.

In our '08 Cougar, the crank is located in the underbelly. There is a small cutout in the black coroplast just in front of the passenger side front wheel and about 18"-24" in towards the center. This gives me access to the slide motor and manual crank. I believe the nut is either 3/4 or 5/8 in.

Mine is in that approx location as well. One day I removed the small choroplast square cover, and there was no opening in to look inside, just solid choroplast belly. I can only assume that if I take a razor and cut out the square, the slide out mechanism is in there.
