right jack would not go down to lift trailer and i was trying to lift with one jack to get camper level and electric motor quit!! keeps blowing fuse and still nothing out of motor....please help..i have a 03 cougar 28 ft fifth wheel :banghead:
Electric jacks are to "snug-up" after level in order to stabilize. Not designed or intended to lift.

i was unhooking from my truck thats what i meant by lifting...i use stabilizing bars but all this happened by unhooking
IC. Electric motor on one side, square tube shaft turns other side. Perhaps this is worn or broke.

Shear Pin in the cross shaft from the Motor on the road side to the jack on the curb side. If like the Montanas it's a 1/4-20 shear pin. BTW, I would try lifting with only one jack as it would tend to twist the frame and possibily create more problems.
