Is cover necessary?

Have a 25' keystone travel trailer. Live in SE Texas. Don't get cold winters but lots of humidity and heat in summer. Is a cover during 3-4 month downtime necessary?

My TT is 7 years old, I live in similar conditions in Florida with no cover and it has never been an issue.

Always a personnal preference. If I was in Texas I probably would not use a cover. Here in Wisconsin I will always use a cover. A high quality breathable cover.
