I have never seen that in all my years around campers. I agree it looks like it is bleeding from the inside. Try a gel coat polish.

what's on the other side of that wall? It almost looks like there is something leaching from the structure on the inside. Is it possi ble something spilled in a cabinet or storage area inside?

I had the same stains on my two main cargo bay doors but no where else. The other 3 doors were fine as were all the sides. Keystone replaced my doors. Not sure what you are going to do with your stains as they look like a section of the camper wall. I never did figure out what caused it.

Did this just recently appear, or has it been a gradual (growing) progression?

Given that it's the bedroom wall... I'm wondering if it's a leak from the window above?
Saturated insulation settling, and causing the leaching/stain?? :confused:

My guess would be that it's probably a chemical breakdown in the fiberglass resin mix. Unfortunately, like in fabric, occasionally there's a thread that doesn't weave correctly and causes a "blurp" in the pattern. I'd think that you may be able to get Keystone to accept some responsibility (they can at least give you the name and manufacturer of the skin sheeting they used to build your RV.

Everyone has their own idea, here's mine.
It looks like when the fiberglass was first painted, they may not have evenly coated the whole side, and that area received too thin a coat.
Successive polishing, washing etc may have worn this thin coat of paint down through to the fiberglass.

I believe the more you try to 'clean' it the worse it will get, because you will just be thinning the paint more.

Here is a theory. We have similar stains on the linoleum in our home as well as a few of our neighbors homes. Of course a lot of our homes were built around the same time by the same contractor and a lot of them have the same linoleum in them. We all are getting stains on or floors similar to the stain you are getting on the side wall of your trailer (and it seems to get worse with everything we try to clean it with). After doing some research and some phone calls we discovered that it was the adhesive they used and it is leaching through. Possibly this is what you are seeing in your side wall is the adhesive leaching through fibers of the filon on your side wall. It's just a therory. :confused:

Not sure who you have talked to about this discolouration, but you might try taking your rig or photos of the affected areas over to (1) an auto body repair/paint shop, (2) a marine/fiberglass facility if you live near a marina. Marine places do a lot of work and repairs on fiberglass and may have an idea on what is causing this.

To me it definitely looks like the discolouration is coming from "the inside out" rather than just happening on the surface. As mentioned in previous posts, it appears as though some kind of leaching or chemical reaction is taking place. The tiny blisters makes me think of a reaction.

Disheartening and frustrating for sure. If you find out anything, let us know.
