Hi everyone,
I have 2007 Keystone Raptor 299MP FW. After a 12 hour trip I slid the hitch back to maneuver in the driveway, caught the breakaway cable and the brakes applied. No big deal its happened before. So I plugged it back in as usual and went to go on my way but the truck read Brake system error or something like it. Not only this but the stock brake controller wasn’t applying the brakes anymore. It being late I went in the house and went to bed. Today when I went to troubleshoot i plugged the 7 pin into my truck and the brakes worked fine, no errors. Then I pulled the breakaway cable and the error came back up on the dash and again, no brakes. I completely unhooked the truck and tried pulling the cable just on the (fully charged) FW batteries, but nothing happened, no humming or anything. I’m racking my brain on this. Does anyone have an answer?? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and Sorry for the long post.
