Route from Eastern FL to Branson, Mo.

It seems there is no direct Interstate route from THe East coast of FL to Branson, MO. We're going next summer so I'd like to know if anyone has traveled that route and would (or would not) recommend the route they took.

Also, what is the best time to go up there? June, July, Aug, etc?

Hope I can help you a little. I live about 30 miles from Branson, travel to the Tavares, Fl. area quite often to see my daughter and grandkids. Went several different routes. If you want interstate, 75 to 24 to US 60 is the route I usually take. Sometimes cut down us 63 to I55 to I10. Not a very good road, very rough. Have cut through the back way, I65 and some state roads, very rough, alot of stop and go, very few fuel stops that were accessable for RV,s. Your choice I guess. Some do not like Interstates. Atlanta is the main problem on I 75 route but you can bypass it. I found going right on through is the best.
I would try June for being cooler here, but they have a lot to do around July. Let me know if I can help you more. Joe :wlcm:
