Dometic Zingle Zone Thermostat issue - E2

I have a 2011 keystone passport 3220BH - it has a single zone dometic thermostat and on the screen it keeps blinking between the set temperature of the AC (when i have the AC selected) and "E2". in the book that I have it does not mention an E2 error code anywhere.

any help would be appreciated!

According to the manual available on-line:
E2 Open circuit or out of range Indoor Temperature Sensor. Heating and cooling
operation will be locked out. Fan operation can continue to operate.

It should be on page 11 of your manual under Error codes.
