Sounds great! The outdoor fridge is handy. It runs on electric only but if you turn it on a day or so before you leave and stock it, you should be OK if you're only going a short distance. This is our first season with the Laredo too. We did our "test trip" at Normandy Farm because it's not too far away. Just a few minor bugs to work out, but Flagg was awesome about taking care of them. First modification completed on the TT...dump the Keystone tire cover and replace it with a "B's" tire cover. Hope we'll meet up some day.

Normandy is great, we make at least one trip a year there. We had a bad experience at River Bend and haven't been back, although we do want to try it again. I have to say our favorite in CT is Hidden Acres in Preston. Great family owners and lots of stuff for the kids to do.

Out of control neighbors. Management was apologetic the following day, but the party was at a seasonal site, so I think they let it go longer than they should have, then could not get it under control. People knocking on doors at 2am. We had a hybrid at the time, so it was especially noisy. We will go back and try to stay in another area, we just have not had the opportunity. Actually, this was way back before the fire so we do want to check out the new facilities.

Jay - Normandy is great. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It's the campground that you'll compare the others to. Facilities are extremely clean, staff is friendly. We haven't been to Hidden Acres or River Bend yet. We like Strawberry Park in Preston Ct. Our son is a teenager and there always seems to be plenty of kids his age to hang out with. The only thing I don't like about SP is that you can't walk your dog from your site to the dog park. They make you drive your dog in your car.

That's nice to know about the kids, we have 3 15-girl 12-boy 6-girl. DW is booking a weekend at Hidden Acres today. Brother in law is staying at Wawaloam Campground this weekend, so we went last night to check it out seems really nice. I would love to be able to go somewhere every weekend but the 6yr has racing.

I grew up going to Normandy as a kid and go there at least 3 times a year since I convinced wife to buy an RV 3 years ago. We love it and agree all others are compared against it. We went to Odetah in CT a few weeks ago and I liked it. Just got back from Myrtle Beach and will be heading to Moose Hillock in NH in August.
