camping in S W Colorado

HI all
any one out there have suggestions for a good campground(s) in the Durango CO area ? Yrs ago we camped at a KOA north of town but wonder what others may suggest for that area ? Kind of would prefer one with non crowded sites. Thanks for any suggestions anyone can offer. Need to get out of our summer time "oven".

You may need to do some phone calls to verify what is open now, that area has been having forest fires the last couple of weeks.
