We sent the Cougar in to Alpin Haus for the addition of slide toppers. They were running a special on them and we wanted to get them on before our first trips of the season.

Anyway, our trailer has the small slide in the bathroom which is just a linen closet. It barely slides out a foot or so, and is only about 49" wide. The service guy is telling me that they probably can't find one small enough since they are only made in standard widths starting around 56" and up.

Anybody else bump into this? Any solutions? I was thinking of checking out RV window awnings to see if they could be modified to work as a tiny topper.

I suppose that if there isn't some kind of topper available, this slide is a good one because it is so small, and it can be retracted leaving the bathroom pretty much totally usable. It's a little close to the toilet but not a problem.

Steve,

Carefree (brand) makes a sideout topper line called 'Slideout Cover'... from 42" – 197" (in 8 inch increments).

See 'specs' tab

Some dealerships sell Carefree, as does Camping World.

Hope this helps.
Terri, the co-pilot :)
