Hello from the AZ desert.
I am looking at a new Keystone Hideout at a local RV dealer at what I think is a good price. THis forum looks like a great place to get acquainted with Keystone "insiders" who have knowledge and experience with their products and knowledge of the RV expereince as a whole which I somewhat lack. We've had a '99 Fleetwood 24 ft trailer that has not been used a lot since we bought it some years ago in that its somewhat small for our current needs. Any suggestions pro or con for the Hideout unit I am considering, the 26 RLS, would be appreciated.
Thanks much for any imput any here care to share.

Desertjack, Welcome to the forum. I think that you will find that most trailers all have the same basic parts. (Appliances, furnishings, and other materials) the main differences are in the floorplans and layouts. If you find a layout that works for your family and is in your price range .... go for it. Perhaps if you post your questions in the Travel Trailer or Light weight sections you may draw some interest from other Hideout owners. Good luck and travel safely, Hank

We have a hideout 26b and have been VERY happy with this trailer.
The hideout is considered keystones entry level trailer.
We are starting our 2nd season with this TT and so far have had
zero problems.:bdance:

Hello, we just bought our 31bhswe hideout. And it was an upgrade from our 98 fleetwood that also right around 24ft.
We love all of the room we have gained. So far we are happy with it. Although we have only been out in it 2 times

Welcome to the forum desertjack!

We don't own a Hideout, but as fellow desert dwellers (southern NM) we'd recommend the 15,000 BTU air conditioner, if possible.
Although there's not a 'great deal' of temperature difference with the larger a/c, every little bit helps on an average summer day. ;)

Good luck with your decision, and happy trails,
Terri, the Chevy co-pilot & DH Kevin :)
