My fridge drain line broke and cracked and needed to be replaced. I found several threads saying you have to remove the fridge to get to the drain line or pull the cup inside the fridge out. Pulling the cup could break it or cause other damage to the fridge so for me both of these options were out.
I found a very simple solution on another site and thought I would share it here to help others out because this is a problem we all have.
Here's some pics to explain. Outside panel where the hose is located.

Now heres the trick that makes this easy. If you look up in the comparment you will see a board that covers the top. Its only held in by two srcews.

Remove the screws and take down the board. Now you have access to the back of the fridge and hose connection.
