Hello everyone the weather is finally changing and we are looking forward to getting back to our favorite campgrounds , but before we can do so we need to return our 2011 passport 250bh to the dealer for a few warranty issues .

1. the slide out leaks the water appears to be coming in and dripping off the cables
2. the slide out couch is super noisy and it creaks like crazy and is just about driving us nuts .
3. the kitchen sink on one side is bowed upwards and wont drain fully
4. there always a small amount of water under the bathroom sink
5. there seems to be a leak by one of the cargo storage doors
We have to take it back the dealer who is about 5 hours away . Just wondering if there are any other known issues i should be looking for ? I only wanna make this trip once with the cost of fuel now days .We really love the trailer other than these issues.

Thanks

Gene

Hi!

We have a 2011 250bh.

The sink being slightly bowed... ours is similar and we have deal with it, nothing that paper towels can't dab up.

The water under the bathroom sink... major problem for us on a trip. We had water all through the back camper area. Turns out our problem was the clean out line for the black water tank. There was some sort of breather valve that was not working correctly. We took care of it ourselves because my husband is knowledgeable and the dealership is about 2 hours away. Small plumbing job on my husband's part and we haven't had an issue since replacing lines.

Cargo door area... we have experience water too. We replaced the existing weather seal with a new seal. We have had no problems since. (Be sure to air out the cargo area- mold will appear if you don't... and that's a whole other animal!)

I know we have to do yearly maintenance on the roof and slide seals every year to keep the rubber soft. We also added a slide awning over the slide as well.

We try to avoid traveling to the dealer for simple maintenance. Save that trip for the recalls.
