Added an electric fireplace to our Challenger, replaced the useless shelf below the entertainment centre with a small Dimplex unit from Home Depot, also wired a couple of 110 plugs in the garage area, used one of them for the fireplace. Keeps us toasty on cool nights.

Sorry, meant to post this sooner. This is an electric fireplace, only needs minimal ventilation provided through garage area. Came with a mantle and surround which I didn't use. Took out a storage shelf we didn't use. Looks pretty real and heats up the trailer nice on cold nights.:)

This one was on sale at Home Depot for $99, they always clear them out at the end of the year here at really low prices. Fit perfectly into the opening without any cutting. Had to wire a plug for the power though. Oreo loves it as do we and we cant believe how good the quality is. Another RVing friend of mine put one from Canadian Tire in his Motor Home, his cost slightly more and he had to build a cabinet for it but it looks just as good. These are a great way to supplement heat and you cant beat a fireplace for that little extra home comfort and... no cords to trip over from electric heaters.
