Every July 4th my wife and i tavel with a group of 6 camping friends to Cherrystone Va and it is the best. There are 4 huge fishing piers with lighting for nights, free paddle boats, 3 pools, good crabbing/clamming, a nice little fresh seafood shack nearby, and a great fruit/veggie stand inside the camground. It is a 3.5 hour trip for me from Magnolia De, but well worth the trip for the week. It is a huge facility with a boat ramp, rental boats, loads of activities for kids and adults. I highly recommend this place, it is awesome.
