Slide topper install help

I have purchased a dometic slide topper. It came with no instruction but i think i have figured it out. I just have one question i need cleared up. When installing the mounting brackets to the outside of the slide out. Since i have fiberglass siding am i suppose to use 1inch rivits rather that the screws provided to attach the brackets?

Our topper was installed using the provided screws and; so far, they are holding securely. Both the brackets and the screws were given a good coat of sealant when they were being fastened to the sides.

do as above for installation instructions, lots of info you should have, installed mine with supplied screws, it feels solid under the FG holding well.:wave:
