Hello everyone...My wife and I are taking delivery of our brand new 2012 summerland 2600tb on Friday...we are super excited moving up from a tottaly dry camping 64 shasta tt that was in her family since new. We both decided since we are nearing 50 in a few years and the kids are growing up that it was time for the comforts of a new TT...we can't wait to bring it home....I'm glad I stumbled across this owners sight....looking forward to reading of everyones adventures and adding in our own

Welcome to the group, Jim and Charlene. I'm sure you will notice quite a difference between the Shasta and the Summerland! Looking forward to hearing from you in the future.

Now waiting on the weather to pick up the new travel trailer, Just maybe 2 more weeks.

Hmmm…looks more like Winterland to me. But comfy, nonetheless. Especially with the furnace on. Is it winterized now?

Yes its winterized...the furnace works awesome....not sure if we will do any camping soon...but I sure want to.....spring will be here soon enough. PDI was about an hour and a half...happy with everything but wish there wasn't snow on the roof...I will inspect that as soon as its gone

Driveway camping is the best way to get used to your new trailer. It saves fuel and if you forget something it's just a short walk to get it. Enjoy your new trailer and welcome to the forum, Hank
