I may be mistaken here, but, I believe that there are two distinct 30amp circuits in 'most' 50amp campers. Half of the outlets and possibly say the frig and main A/C are on one circuit and the rest of the outlets and maybe the televisions are on the other. A 50amp line actually has two hot lines coming in with each line capable of 120 X 30 = 6,000watts for a total of 12,000 watts. That is the major advantage of having the 50amp setup. As for the 2nd A/C, it's 'usually' set on the opposite circuit of the 'main' A/C so the two don't compete. I hope I've answered your question with this long diatribe .

There are actually two 120V lines and a nuetral coming into your trailer. Nothing in the trailer uses 240V, but they are split into two 120V 50A legs effectively giving you 100A of usable power.

The RV panelboards are not wired the same as a home panelboard. IN the RV panelboard all breakers to the right of the main breaker are from the right half, breakers to the left from left half. This configuration does not allow for the wiring of conventional twin 240V breakers. The twin breakers in the panel have the same 120V at each connection. This configuration allows up 12 circuits.

Thanks Scott and all for clearing it up I understand how it works now.
I just had a bad experience with my power cord and the neutral disconnecting
burned out the microwave a small wine cooler and it looks like the refrigerator.
I took my gen to where I store the 5ver to double check ref does not work,
the power cord is very hard to connect to the trailer to buy a new end is
about $100 maybe I'll have to buy one took that end apart just to make sure
everything was still tight after the rv repair man at the last camp trip put it
back together opened it up the red wire came out screw was not even tight.
I tighten it up but could not get the plug back in to connect to the trailer.
Monday I'll be calling my moble rv that has worked on my rv's before.
Can not believe the trouble I am having with this power cord
