Keep in mind that there are TWO distinct and different warranties on newer model Keystone trailers. One is the "one year inclusive warranty" and the other is the "three year structural warranty"... BOTH are transferrable to the new owner. This is the statement from the 3 year structural warranty:
Transferability: This Limited Structural Warranty may be transferred by the first retail purchaser to a subsequent retail
purchaser; however, the Limited Structural Warranty will in no way be extended beyond the three (3) year coverage
period. For the second retail purchaser to receive the unexpired balance of the structural warranty coverage as described
above, after purchasing the RV you must go to our website at www.keystonerv.com and provide Keystone your VIN,
name, address, phone, and email address (proof of purchase may be requested). You may also notify Keystone of the
transfer by phone at (866) 425-4369 or by email at
[email protected].
The structural warranty is extremely important and you should request the dealer (if he is a Keystone authorized dealer) to transfer it for you. If he is not a Keystone dealer, then you need to follow the instructions and transfer it yourself. In either case, you need to follow up with Keystone within the first 30 days to make certain the manufacturer has processed the transfer of warranty to record your ownership....
DO NOT FAIL TO TRANSFER THE WARRANTY....
If there is no 2020 Keystone Owner's Manual in the trailer, you can download it here: https://keystone-rv-dealer-app.cdn.prismic.io/keystone-rv-dealer-app/60735041-ea2d-48f7-ac5b-08e07137a3b0_2020+Keystone_owners_manual_revised.p df
