One of the marker lights on the rear of the coach is out. All of the others are fine. Before I get out the hammer and chisel to remove the plastic cover, what should I expect to find? Is the LED itself replaceable? Or am I just checking for a loose connection?

LED's have a much longer life than the old incandescent bulbs, but it's possible that it could be "gone". IMO, it's more likely that the connection could be corroded because the old caulking allowed moisture to get inside the lense, and needs to be redone.

In any case, it looks like you will still need the hammer and chisel! lol. Or maybe a razor blade to remove the caulking first. You will probably find a couple of screws holding the lense in place.

Hope this helps.

I've read that many times the weep hole on the lens has been installed upside down. Once I get the ladder out, I'll know more. Hopefully it's just simple corrosion.

One of mine went out too. I removed and replaced it. Simple enough, and it worked. However; while I had it out, I discovered a couple of nicks in the wiring that had obviously happened during the construction of the trailer. I'm just glad it hadn't shorted out. I put some tape over it and called it good but I can't help but wonder how many other potential electrical fires are spread around the trailer.
