Electric fireplace remote

I am trying to figure out the remote for the fireplace. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. I changed the remote batteries and still works the same. Any instructions out there or answers?:confused:

I haven't figured out mine either. :confused: But it is just as easy to walk across the room and use the switches behind the grill. Guess I'm too lazy to figure out the remote . . . :rofl:

What I have found is that if the on/off switch on the front face of fireplace is not in the off position, the remote does not work.

Seems like we had an issue a while back and I just shut the breaker off for a while then made sure all the butons were set right on the unit
