Does anyone know if this route is suitable for RV travel? Google shows it as best route for my next leg — Page to Holbrook — but I cannot find any information regarding that roadway more recent than 2014. Every other map app shows 98 to 89A to 89 as best route, but the distance is notably longer and the road appears to be more twisty.

Our route is always 89 to I40. Don't know about the other.

If it were me I would motor on down 89 to I-10 then east to Holbrook. The roads o the Navajo reservation can be OK but that's the middle of nowhere if you have problems.
Be careful on 89 and watch out for whoop dee doos in a couple of places.

Thanks. 89T/N20 runs for 43 miles from Page to where it joins 89 in Gap. When we drove up here, we took the 89/89A/98 route as indicated by our Google nav. And, I know what you mean by “whoop de doos”. If I return on that same route, both time and distance almost double versus what is indicated by the navs for the 89T route. What has me concerned is ... if 89T is such a good route going back, why not bring me up that way?

89T (Temporary) and N (Navajo)20 was used about 10 years ago when there was a landslide on 89 where it goes up that long 10% grade. Do whatever you like but running across the Rez I like to stick to more traveled roads.

Sound advice. Thanks
