Drove to FL and picked up an '08 Copper Canyon fifth wheel. Has some nice features but after getting it home found a few things that displeased me. Now keep in mind we got home at 9PM last night and I'm still punchy!

I called the dealer today and told them the back was delaminated and they told me the back is just glued to the studs unlike the sides. Does this sound right to all of you?

By the way this is my first Keystone product ever. I am about as new on here as you can get.

The back of your 5th feels "loose" and does have a fair amount of give and take if you were to push on it. This is quite normal as the back is not constructed the same way as the sides. Your dealer is correct in telling you that and rest easy - the back is not delaminated.

Thanks for the comfort. We really like this unit, but there does seem to be a bit of a learning curve! Took me awhile to find the battery! :rofl: Still trying to try the inside access to the water heater so I can winterize it now.

It would appear that your dealer may have failed to provide you with a "walk through" which should have given you information about winterization, where the accesses are to the various valves and bypasses - where things are and how they work. If you do a search of our forum (use the search feature) or do a Google search on RV winterization, you will find scads of information about this topic.
There should be a removable panel directly behind your water heater -- at floor level. Have you located your water pump yet? Somewhere in these two area there should be a single or perhaps a double bypass valve that you should close so that you are not filling up your HW tank with RV antifreeze.
Will you be blowing your lines out or using RV antifreeze?

The rear of our fiver has 1 or 2 spots that looks like bubbles, if that is what you are talking about.

Our unit is 5 years old now and this started about a year ago. Hasn't gotten any worse.

+3 on the rear panel not being completely flush, it's not made like the side panels which are sandwiched together.

Mine has been "wavy" since birth.

Found the bypass for the water heater and the pump. Found a few other things too. All is going well. Blew a fuse on the power front jacks. Found the fuse so that will be easy. Getting there. Thanks for the help.
