Good Afternoon,
We found a water leak this year from a soft floor. I am hoping that I've stopped it and now working on repairing the damage. Some of the floor in front of the door is bad and when we removed a floor register, we found damage to the floor around the register.

To fix the floor around the register, we need to remove the underbelly. There are some bolts and nail 'things'. I'm looking for any advice before I start removing the underbelly to ensure I can reattach it properly. I do not need to remove all of it, but enough to expose the area to hopefully be able to shore it up.

Thank you,
Joe

The coroplast is riveted in place using “nails” installed with a gun. You can grind off the heads and then punch the rest through the hole. Then use self tapping stainless steel screws in the original holes and your golden.

I have had good luck removing the nails with vise-grips and wiggling them. My son and I pulled our chloroplast in just a few minutes.
