New in Las Vegas

Hello,

We are new to RV/Travel Trailers. We have been looking at the Hideout and Springdale options and can't wait to go on adventures in the western U.S.

Welcome Tim.
Sounds as if you are ready for the road,well almost,you need the trailer.
First and foremost you are in a unique (and smart) position if you have not yet purchased your trailer. You did mention you are new to RV and TTs so the following is intended to help you safely traverse the highways of this beautiful country and not as an insult to your knowledge or present equipment.
Please be aware of what you plan to tow with what. Meaning make sure you have more truck than trailer. Not sure what your TV ( that is the way we write "Tow Vehicle" on here) is but it will have a yellow sticker in the drivers side door jamb with a number. It will be near a statement that reads something like "All occupants and cargo SHALL NOT exceed" .That number works into calculations that address what you are able to tow safely and not exceed weight ratings on the axles,tires, drive line,transmission ect.. And most important not exceed the braking ability of your TV.
Please utilize the knowledge base of this forum before you purchase any trailer. The RV sales people have a reputation of only being interested in making a sale rather than the safety and abilities of the customers TV.
Go shop and ask questions on here before signing anything. If they can scratch out a "fantastic,has to be done now deal" once,they can do it again.
There are folks on here with a lot of towing experience and good advice and will be happy to help you.

Welcome from your neighbor to the east, Utah. I grew up in Vegas, left in '83. As said earlier, If you don't already have your truck you can pick your favorite trailer floor plan and size the truck to trailer. Many on the forum here can help with that process. If you. already have the truck you plan to use, then you'll be sizing the trailer to the truck.
Either way the forum can provide objective help matching things up to get you the best and safest RV combination without any sales hype.
