Hi,

Can anyone recommend a nice RV camprground in the Cocoa Beach / Port Canaveral, FL area?

Also we will be driving down from the Piedmomnt area of NC so a one night stop somehwere off I95 in the Georgia area would be of interest.

Thanks!
Dave

www.tgoresort.com will get you to The Great Outdoors RV Resort in Titusville, FL. We went there for 4 nights to see the last manned space shuttle, BUT, stayed 4 additional nights because the is THE BEST RV PARK we have ever stayed at. 2 pools; restuarant; + old style diner, BEAUTIFUL 18 hole golf course and on and on....

They rent sites that are "owned" and vacant. Sites start at $80,000. I only share so you can guage the quality of this place. Homes with RV ports attached begin around $350,000 and run up towards $1 mil. 24 hour private police force and they DO PATROL 24x7 and enforce the 15mph speed limit. No noisy neighbors. Landscape is BEAUTIFUL, old Florida. Pads are concrete; all level. Designed for EZ in and out.

You can/could get a free night coupon...pay 3 get 4....

Short drive to Cocoa Beach; space center, places to eat and MOST important,
Dunkin Donuts 4 miles away.

Does NOT get any better than this.....We will be "bock" :bdance:

Jetty park. It's right on cocoa beach next to the Ron Jon hotel. The intercoastal waterway runs alongside the north side of the park so on weekends you can catch the Disney cruise ships heading out to sea.

Best loop is the most eastern one. Besides being closer to the beach bathrooms are much better shape instead of western ones which are usually overrun by tent campers.

If your lucky you have a perfect view to watch anything they may be launching now at NASA.
