Onan generator

I have a gas Onan 5500 on my 2008 Cyclone Toy Hauler and it was running good last fall but on the last trip out, it wouldn’t start and the start switch is blinking once every 3 seconds and won’t do anything. Won’t click, attempt to turn over, or anything. I have tried to hold it down for 30 seconds and it just starts the one blink pattern as soon as I release it. I have new batteries and the oil level is new and full. Any suggestions?

The blinking light (3 times) signifies there is a "fault code".. You need to press the "start/prime button" one time and then the generator will display the fault code...
