I saw this add https://rvairflow.com/products/rvairflow-coleman and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this mod?
Add says Grand Design is going to use it on their trailers. At $170 it seems a bit pricey but if it really does help air flow by 40% we could really use some help increasing the flow to the bedroom. I've already done the suggested changes posted before but still looking for more air

Ironic that you posted that today. I haven't seen that before yet I did the mod to my Dometic today.

The cold air dumps into a plenum (big box) rattles around for a while bouncing off the box walls until it eventually finds its way into the ducts. All that turbulence makes for a poor air velocity.

I bent some sheet metal and installed a diverter to split the air flow and direct it into the duct openings. My unscientific testing indicates that it did increase the output and the ceiling vents.

So, although I haven't seen that product before, I can say that properly installed, it will improve flow without a doubt.

wonder if you attached an anemometer to an open vent on the ceiling (remove the register), turn on a/c to high fan only and take note of the reading on the meter. Then remove the modification on the air box and turn it on again, and now compare readings. I’d use the vent that is the furthest away from the air box.

I just watched the install video, only watched the first minute and realized a few minutes with some aluminum tape could probably do just as good.

Further investigation shows that someone already did what I was thinking.
