Our surround sound only works when we use the Furrion DVD player, but not when we use the tv. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Which model radio and TV? When you play a DVD does the TV need to be in A/V mode or HDMI?

Furrion makes several different kinds of players etc. anymore. As Chuckster observed, make/model of stereo and TV would be greatly beneficial. Probably miswired but maybe not.

I had the Furrion manual out last trip looking for something and I thought I saw an option to set the input to AV.

I have a 2019 Cougar, the radio will take audio in but the 50 inch TV had no audio out! Had the wires in my Buy bag with manuals and such, figured out that it can’t connect! When the TV dies will get a new one with the audio out!

Does it have other output/inputs? HDMI, A/V etc.

What brand model tv? Look on the back for a red and white RCA jacks or a small headphone type jack. It may not be "labeled" as audio out. I've seen them labeled as "fixed" or "line" out on some equipment. I guess it depends on the translator they hired.

Buy one of these. Run it from the headphone jack on the TV to the input on the front of the DVD/entertainment device. Set to AUX.

I had the same problem and have bought two different cables with no luck. Added sound bar and that helped on the sound volume.
