I have a 2019 Cougar Half-Ton 26RBS. I would like to put a TV Mount on the outside of the trailer for viewing while lounging under the awning...sounds great!

Does anyone know if there is a backer board of some type that was installed as a standard on these trailers? If so, any idea where it is or how to find it? There is no location sticker on the outside (although there is one on an inside wall in the bedroom).

Also, any recommendations on quick connect TV mount to use?

Maybe you could use this type of mount inside your outdoor kitchen area. It looks like it has a quick release to take the tv off before closing up the outdoor kitchen??

We've been bringing along an extra 32" LCD for about 10 years now for outside use, with a DVD player for the kids. MOVIE NIGHT was great when the grandkids were little! The local campers showed up, and we had a ball! We considered mounting it , but found it's far more versatile leaving the "legs" on, and setting it on a table, milk crate, or now in the basement of our 5er. That way we can have a better experience, based on the location. i.e Sun, Shade, etc...

Make sure to secure it when away from your site. No matter what you decide on, and please be considerate of your neighbor on the volume!

Good Luck,

What I did was found one of the metal support in the outside wall and mounted a TV mount through it with bolts and nuts. Can't get much more solid that that
