2021 Keystone Cougar camera prep

So we just brought home our new 2021 cougar 26rbs. i hooked up our furrion camera but no power? I pulled the wires out of the back wall only to find them burnt and melted? there is a white wire and another white wire with a green stripe. is the white wire the ground?

The plain white is ground. Any white with any color tracer is positive. If your wiring is burnt, I would test with a Volt/ohm meter Or test light before hooking the camera up. And as a rule the running lights need to be on for the camera to get power.

Thank you. The running lights did work fine and I had them on while testing my camera just no power. I am going to drop by my dealer today with pictures and see what they say?

I found a bad fuse in the fusible link In the battery area on my new rig. Pulled and checked but it physically looked good. Tested it and showed bad. Replaced and all is well.
Easy to check instead of dragging it to the dealer.
