Got back today from our first trip. When opened door on camper, the kitchen blind was hanging down on one side. Looks like screw stripped out of metal framing. N.C. rough roads I guess. What is the best way to fix this. My plans are to get a fatter screw to see if that will hold. Anybody know a better way. Not a lot of room, barely get my hand in the area. Sure can’t see hole when blind is held up.27557

I use bamboo skewers, others use toothpicks. Either will do and you can use the original screw.

toothpicks soaked in carpenter's glue shoved into hole before reinserting same screw...:-)

Yea, probably more like was stripped at the factory.
Had one blind we never use fall out while parked. Upon inspection looks like they missed the mark a few times before they stripped the wall hole too big. Our wood center piece that joins the 2 larger pieces that hides the slide out motor/cables on our main slide...found out they used 1 screw per side and the one side never caught the wood. So one side was just there floating. Lol. I fixed it.
Expect many more of these 'fixes'

Thanks for all the tips. Actually used one size bigger screw. Felt like it tightened up pretty good. We will see in a couple weeks when it’s hauled down the road again. Hope it holds up.
