You may not have a "crank up antenna" Keystone started using a "omni-directional antenna" on some models in 2012 and increased the models each year until they essentially phased out the older Winegard crank up antenna".

Get a ladder, lean it against the side of your RV (use something to cushion the ladder so it won't scratch your RV) and climb up on the ladder to look at what's actually installed on your roof. Many (maybe most) no longer have the old style "crank up antenna".

I'm not positive that your antenna is a omnidirectional antenna, but if you can't find the Winegard hand crank on the ceiling in your trailer, chances are pretty good that your model was one of the first to get the "new improved antenna"... The best way to know for sure is to actually "see" what's on the roof, then you'll have no doubt what's up there...

Oh, thanks. We enjoy our "little Cougar". We'd have a much larger one except for two issues. First is a longer one won't fit in the pole barn for winter storage and we almost always "double tow" either a boat or a motorcycle, so there's that pesky "65' max length" in most states to contend with....

Look inside the trailer directly below the antenna. There may be a knob there to allow turning the antenna to point toward the transmitter site. There should also be a small button inside to turn on the signal booster.

The antenna booster button Woody mentioned is probably on the 12v outlet faceplate near the TV. Press the little booster button and a small light should come on. Now the antenna should work better.

Easiest thing to do is take a look up there on the roof. A crank up antenna will look like a "bat wing" setting on 2 sections of aluminum square tubing that leads to the roof fixture. The omni directional style looks like a "flying saucer" that landed on the roof.
