I wonder who has done it and what you did. I make weekly runs to food lifeline for our church food bank and they put the food on pallets. Since my wife and I are older, unpacking and repacking is not very condusive.

Right now we have to get the blue pallets to slide across the rails. What Id like to do is put something with say Plywood or stronger to slide the pallets on to make loading easier (We have a team that unloads when we get back).

So any Ideas??

I have seen rubber horse stall mats used in the bed, but I don't think they will stay in place sliding a pallet on them.

Your best bet would probably be 2 layers of 1/2" plywood. Most lumber yards will cut full sheets for free or for a few dollars.

Cut some 3/4” pieces of plywood to fit in between the rails and in front and behind them, then add a full sheet on top of the plywood and rails and you should be good to go.
