We have a Husky Centerline TS hitch and I've been happy with it but.....
I'm getting real sick of carrying it to the truck and on and off the truck.
I'm starting to look for a new hitch setup with weight and control both being important.
Any suggestions?

Look into the Andersen Weight Distribution hitch. I had one on a 29' Travel Trailer that weighed about 7,500 loaded and it was great. https://andersenhitches.com/Catalog/weight-distribution-kits.aspx

I use an older Reese "straight line" hitch and it's heavy. A couple of years ago I ordered a HitchGrip HG-712 and it works very well for me. https://www.rvupgradestore.com/Orange-Hitch-Coupling-Tool-p/94-0349.htm?gclid=Cj0KCQjw7qn1BRDqARIsAKMbHDaq9CIo13j 2odp7Ia9ayuuVUzpWu_DC7v9du8eVXc5NiFuSMG9SDqMaApUvE ALw_wcB

I did the same, the hitch head is still heavy but a lot easier to handle.
