Today I moved our TT from winter storage to the dealer for NYS Inspection and such.
First time towing with my new truck.
I went from a 2017 Silverado LT to a 2020 Silverado LTZ. Also from a 5.3L to a 6.2L V8.
OK more HP is always nice but the big issue is the tow.
With my 2017 I always had a little shake, hard to explain but when first setting out the truck felt a little unsettled. After a few miles I would just get use to it.
My 202 is rock steady and smooth.
Both have the basic tow package but the new truck just feels more locked down. New frame? New suspension?
Don't really know but the 40 minute tow was just much more relaxing.
By the by, before you all get on my case about towing with a 1500 look at WHAT I'm towing. Fully loaded on a good scale it's around 4400 to 4500 LBS.

That’s awesome! Congratulations on your new truck and it’s maiden tow.

For sure, but you should have bought a DRW LOL!!!

Glad it was a big improvement over what you had. Enjoy.

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. ROFL

Robert, looks like everything is even better than you expected! Good on ya...
And when Momma decides it's time for a big Montana you can pay a visit to the Freightliner M2 dealer.:D

We go to RV shows and compare and talk about why our TT is better.
I was kinda thinking about a 2500 / 3500 and a small 5'er but my wife was so against it.
No plans to replace the TT but I wanted more toys in the truck.
