My DW and I have owned a 2010 27RLS Cougar for two years. We have had a few problems, but nothing that Keystone didn't repair. One thing that is confusing to me is that we have three holding tanks but none of the information that I have found from Keystone shows three. The Black and Gray valves are near each other, but the galley valve is behind the tires under the slide without a label (hard to get to). Does all 27RLS have three?

According to Keystone's website, that Cougar year and model does have 3 holding tanks. (Fresh=41 gal., Waste=28 gal., Gray-56 gal.) I would assume that those specs as listed apply to all 27RLS Cougars.

If you are counting the fresh water tank, then we have 4. Fresh water 41 gallons, Black 28 gallons, Gray 56 gallons and a 4th tank, Galley which holds about 30 gallons.

Per the folks at Keystone (toured the Montana Plant while at the Montana Rally) the reason for the odd placement of the Galley pull is the length of the cable used. Their supplier only makes two lengths, 6 foot and 12 foot, thus the galley pull must be located somewhere near the galley tank. At least you're lucky and know that it's there, many are never told about it and can't understand why the sink won't drain.
