Guess I went to the wrong HW. We bought our 315RLS from Mesquite Tx in July 2019 and before we left I asked about the mirror on the front of the 5er. I was told it is what it is because it was a 2019 by the dealer. It was oxidized and even standing in front of it you cant see anything. Six months later the LED lights go out under the front awning and a water leak from the PEX fitting in the kitchen. The only thing I get is can you tighten the fitting and bring it in and we will fix it. 8 weeks backup in the service department. We live full time in our RV, I don't have 8 weeks to be without the RV. I called the service department about the LED light and two weeks later the light comes in but nobody calls. It cost $120 for the light and when I asked it would be free if I brought it in I was told yes but they couldn't tell me how long it would take to get to it. Guess I'm on my own with the repairs.

You have a couple of choices. Learn to pay for things, or learn how to fix them.
Once anything leaves the store always assume you're on the hook for it. If you get any type of repair or replacement that's a bonus.
This website if searched can give you the info you need, google your situation and if worded correctly will lead you right back here to the posts that deal with your possible solution. You tube, and some manufacturers offer videos to help you out. If you're having trouble finding a solution post it. Pictures, model, year and information will help other folks here offer some advice. Not all of it will be good advice, buyer beware
Good luck

Eric, I also am curious what you might be looking for. I looked at the dealership on Google and found that they are very well represented at most facets other than finance. I saw repeated complaints about their finance department, but the rest were exemplary. 4.9 stars on 930 reviews is way better than most. In about 6 months all the bugs will probably be gone and life will be good!:)

I bought from Holiday World Alvarado while I was on a temporary job assignment in Fort Worth. I live north of Austin - minutes from another Montana dealer - Crestview RV. I have heard plenty of stories about trying to get warranty work done from a dealer OTHER THAN your sales dealer. Fortunately we had no major issues, only had what I consider minor issues. I learned over the years that if I have to take a unit in to a dealer it will take a while for them to get to my unit. Thanks to this and other forums - I can find the help and support I need to fix most items myself. I understand your predicament. If it was me I would try to negotiate with HW to give you the parts you need free or at a discount, then come here and ask questions for how to go about fixing it yourself. The knowledge base here and willingness to help if incredible.

I work in construction and have built dealerships - car and RV. Even RV dealerships with seemingly large service departments are backed up for weeks. I can’t imagine the number of bays it would take to have a guaranteed (say) one week turn around. They would not only have to have a huge number of service bays but more importantly - the qualified techs to work on many different types of rigs. This combination is difficult to solve. I think the answer to long wait times for RV warranty and service in for the RV industry to up the quality of units produced. No idea how to make that happen. You might solve time travel quicker.

I let HW in Katy (Houston) torment me to near insanity. There were times I thought they couldn't be worse, then the next visit they proved me wrong. We didn't have any issues with the finance dept.
The service dept really doesn't care for your warranty claims. They would much rather be installing expensive accessories. I have audited vendor repair shops for my employer and it doesn't take long to see the bad ones. HW is a bad one.
Find you a Mom & Pop shop that just does repairs. They survive on their reputation to FIX things. If you are full time living in the RV maybe use a mobile repair service to develop a relationship with.
You will have a much happier life the sooner you cut ties with HW.

On my 2019 Montana 5er, that front mirror turned so bad after only a few months, it was completely unusable. I just ordered another one from the dealership, paid for it, and stuck it directly over the old one. I did not attempt to remove the old one, as I figured that would cause more damage than good. The new one has lasted a year now and still looks good. The original lasted about 3 or 4 months. The back of those mirrors has sticky glue on them. You pull the protective sheet off the back and simply stick it directly on the old one. Very easy, no need for anyone to do this for you.

About everything else, well ...
