I currently am using a 2700 16k Pullrite Superglide hitch with the standard 1621 pin box and I am considering changing to a Reese 16k 5th Airborne pin box. Pros and Cons from anyone running this combination would be appreciated.

Can't tell you about that combination, but I have 16,000 pound Reese hitch with 5th Airborn pin box. Had quite a lot of chucking and bucking. 1/2 way into cross country trip, had pinbox sent to campground. My nephew helped me to install. Best upgrade ever!

I used to grit my teeth every time we went over a bridge transition because I knew what to expect. Now I still grit my teeth, and then wonder why because I felt nothing.

I have a B&W Companion hitch with the Airborne pin box. Traveled about 4000 miles. Didn't have enough air in it for about 200 miles and was a little rough, got it aired up( 90#) and it has performed great. No problems.

I found that 100# worked good, however just upgraded to G rated Sailun. The ride back to the storage lot was a bit rougher than before. May need to play with the pressure to dial it back in.

Thanks for the insights.
I will take the plunge on the16k Reese 5th Airborne. It has positive reviews and will not raise my FW nose any higher than the std pin box.
