We were camping at James Island in Charleston and across the road the campers had a brick pizza oven on wheels. Wood fired!

Wish I knew what was going on with your albums, hank... I can't see either of those two photos, either. :banghead:

But since you mentioned a houseboat, I saw this fascinating rig parked at the supermarket in town a while back.

CD , I don't know why you can't see photos the way I have been posting them for years. I dug through my files from three computers ago and found the original pics and attached them. This old dog doesn't like new tricks, but you should be able to see them now.

I see them now, thanks!

When I try to pull them up even manually from the URLs that were in your message, they show up as 1x1 pixel images. I guess I'm just a second-class forumite!

Wow, it's not a joke photo, either.

From the shape of that rig, I can easily see it having a negative tongue weight unless you were really careful about loading it.

In the 70's there was a line of "rooftop mounted hitch" trailers. They were called the "Harmon Shadow". https://www.doityourselfrv.com/harmon-shadow-trailer-innovative-hitch-design-wasnt-popular/

No, not a joke. It was amazing to watch him zip around and push it into his camping slot. I wish I had looked closer to the tow ball hookup. The hitch looked like one from a small boat.

I'm not exactly sure what he was up to... Metal recycling? Art? Junk Yard on wheels? (wonder if those are LT tires...)

Outgrew his shopping cart, now a legend among the homeless.

Mel, I've posted that before here. The truck can be seen regularly still working in the Hendry county area of south Florida.

Saw the same type truck, with the same load, painted red & blue, that stated "Truckload of political promises keep clear!". Can't find the picture.
