I was hoping to tap inot my propane for my grill. Dno't feel like carrying around a third propane tank in my truck every trip. Does anyone know how to do this?

If you need an unregulated gas supply for your grill this http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/stay-flow/30341 is what I use. It works great and I just coil the hose around the tank for storage.

If you have the outdoor kitchen, you already have a low pressure connection. Remove the regulator from the grill and out a quick connect fitting on it. Get a hose with QC fittings to connect the grill to the low pressure connection and you're good. That'sa lot easier than having to deal with hoses and attachments at the propane tanks. This question has been addressed on this forum several times. Do a search and you'll get all of the info you need. You can do an advanced search on postings under my name and you'll fine photos. I don't have time to repost all of them, but they are there for the viewing.

X2- I have two 10' hoses connected together so I can put my Weber where I want it. This beats carrying the extra tank.

Are you sure your camper does not have a quick-connect for your grill? My last two Keystones had that as standard.

If your RV has a propane quick connect and you are planning to hook up your Weber BBQ to it, there are numerous explanatory posts about this topic complete with detailed photos of what you need and how to do it. As was suggested earlier, try a search on forum and you will find plenty of information about this.

Are you sure your camper does not have a quick-connect for your grill? My last two Keystones had that as standard.

Mine does, but it is for my outside stove plus it is regulated. Just easier for me to hook up to the bottle with a long hose.

Look under the trailer and locate the black iron pipe which is the propane line running from the front near the tanks back to the area of the water heater, furnace, fridge, and stove.

If there is a quick-connect, it will be a "T" off the pipe, and a run of pipe out to a brass fitting that looks like a compressed air connection. It will be threaded onto the pipe and the end of it should look similar to this:

It might have a plastic fitting in the end to keep dirt out, but you should be able to spot it. They are usually on the curb side of the trailer, down low along the bottom edge, generally located near where you might want to use a grille under the awning.

My quick connect is behind the skirt between the wheel well and door.

On ours, the fitting is located well to the front, just behind the landing gear, and about a foot back under the trailer. You almost have to get down real low and look up at it, but then it is real obvious. The black arrow is pointed right at the gas quick connect fitting.

I'm sure it has it as my Laredo (2011) does. Depending on the floor plan it's fore or aft of the curb side tires. Remember, the regulator on the Q must be removed before quick connecting the TT & grill, otherwise it won't work, reason being the propane is already at reduced pressure from your tank's regulator.:wave:

Marshall Brass makes all those fittings. I got over 800,000 hits in a single Google search. PPLMotorHomes, Ebay, Amazon. They're available all over the place.

If you have a local shop that sells welding supplies, they usually carry an extensive selection of propane fittings.

I just recently discovered my quick-connect just next to my outside steps. Now I’m tempted to use it for my Weber Q. And here’s the quick-connect hose I think I’d need to do so:

No, I took that at Northampton Beach SP. It's right across the lake from our home so we dragged the new 5'er over there for it's maiden voyage.
