Refrigerator to wide to fit through door

I had to replace my Dometic 2662 refrigerator on my Keyston Cougar 31 today. We could not get the old reefer out through the door. We had to remove the door from the camper. We were 1/2 inch to small on the door. Is this common?

Did you try removing the refer doors?

Welcome to the forum. It’s more common to remove the refer doors. If that’s not enough, it’s easier to remove a window.
