Crazy travel day

Crazy weather on the east coast today, pulled out of Kenly N.C. at 6:30. Headed south on I95 ran headlong into the wind and rain at approximately 7:20, pulled off for about 30 minutes for the worst to pass by. Fought a headwind all day, terrible fuel mileage, a lot trees down on the side on the interstate. The further south we got the better the weather. Happy to report that Dw, dog 🐕, trailer, truck and I are all safely settled in at Pecan park rv outside Jacksonville enjoying the sun. Saw a lot of TT’s on the side of the road today, tire issues mainly. Half way to our destination in the keys. Travel safely everyone!

Btw Pecan park is very tidy and nice if just under the airport approach.

Thanks. Made it to our destination in Marathon Fl today and can relax now. Seems like traffic and weather fought us a lot this trip.
