I have a 2018 Cougar 333MKS. A small thin crack has developed in the side wall on the left side of the camper. The crack appears to start at the lower
left corner of the bedroom slide (looking at the slide out from the outside, so the crack runs toward the front of the camper). I talked to my dealer and he
states those cracks are fairly common, suggests making a "relief cut" and
covering the cut with a trim piece. Anybody else had that happen and how should I go about repairs????

This issue has been discussed MANY times on this forum. The root of the problem seems to be the frame beneath the area of the crack is cracked. The frame is made by Lippert and the discussions have involved how it is fixed and by whom. Use the search function. The most common area of the crack is forward of the bedroom slide. Fixing the crack cosmetically won't resolve the issue of the frame cracked beneath it.

"Somewhat common" on heavier units than yours.

Sadly your RV dealership service dept doesn’t have a clue about what they are talking about... you need to contact Keystone Customer satisfaction and reference this file...

You have an issue that “No Relief Cut” is ever gonna fix......
