2020 32 rdb slam latch adjustment

How do you adjust slam latches on compartment doors i didnt want to take it 120 miles to dealer for that just picked it up 2 weeks ago. Heavy rain last night just a table spoon of water in compartment. Doors could seal better. Thanks Jon

They aren’t really “adjustable”, that said you can tweak the catch on the frame. Once done don’t “slam” them shut, lift the lock handle and push it closed.

If you haven’t already run a small bead of silicone across the top seam of the hinge. If the hinge is on the top it seems to resolve one area of possible leakage.

The catch for the latch can be loosened and shifted slightly, the latch itself is two piece sandwich style, you can loosen the screws on the backside and shift it slightly. Very little movement on both. It doesn’t take much movement at all and they won’t latch.

As already mentioned, if you can figure out where the leak is, a small dab of silicone will probably take care of it.
